Oskar Lindström

Born in 1971 in Raseborg, Finland, I have been residing and working in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany since 2012.

I completed my Master’s Program at the School of Photography, University of Gothenburg, in 2000. In 1998, along with Albert Braun, Marcus Lerviks, and Simo Brotherus, we established the art group finnfemfel. The project “It’s better to build than to fade away” commenced in 2003, in collaboration with Martijn van Berkum. Additionally, in 2015, I initiated the innovative project “it’s gratis” as a solution to the economic challenges in the art world.

I am a member of the Muu Artist Association in Finland and have been affiliated with the Badischer Kunstverein in Germany since 2013.
